We join you, ###, in lifting up your husband's job search to our Heavenly Father. Let us pray and seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we remember God's promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We encourage your husband to trust God fully and acknowledge Him in this job search.

However, we want to remind you both of the importance of diligence, as stated in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 (WEB), "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread." While trusting God, it's crucial to actively seek opportunities and not rely solely on divine intervention.

Let us pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###'s husband. We ask that You guide his job search, that You open doors that no man can shut, and that You provide a job that not only meets their family's needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents to glorify Your name. Help him to trust in You, Lord, and to be diligent in his search. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as there is power in His name.
