We understand your desire for a new, fulfilling job, and we're here to pray and offer guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our employment. We should always seek His will and guidance in our careers.
In the Book of Psalms, 37:23 (WEB), it says: The LORD directs his steps and delights in his way. Though he stumbles, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up by the hand. Jesus also gives us another advice, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you, (Matthew 6:33,WEB) . Also Remember, whatever may be our state, and it is only by Jesus that we approach God the Father. John 14:6. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".
As you search for a new job, pray that God's will be done. He knows the best place for you, and He will guide you there in His perfect timing.
In Colossians 3:23, Gods word states Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,. Always remember to be a witness for Christ in your workplace, demonstrating His love and grace. Even pray for your next employer as it also needs prayer. If your company does not honor your work after you have left you still must forgive as Jesus admonished his followers in Matthew 6:15, if you dont forgive those around you, even those that wronged you, your father in heaven will not forgive you. Even though they should reward you, you have to also have your future reward in view. Be prepared and set a side finances when possible so when your employer owes you money or shortchanges you have some protection against this happening. If an employer owes money and wont pay you do you best to do what the Bible states Matthew 5:40 "and if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also", If you give them an opportunity they have the opportunity to repent. Take things in stride knowing that in all things god works for the good of those that love him. That does not mean this applies to all as the reward of an inheritance is set aside only for his Children, Romans 8:28 (WEB),
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today uplifting our brothers and sisters seeking new employment. Guide them, Lord, to the jobs that You have prepared for them, where they can use their talents and take advantage of the Gospel in ways that honor You. Also God , your word commands us in Proverbs 22:29 (WEB) Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men, and therefore God your child also needs your guidance on their appearance as they go in for this job to ask you for cleanliness, presentableness, hygiene, eloquence of speech and calm demeanor. Remember that these traits in how you present yourself is half the job before the interviewers. Allow your God-given desire for work be placed and prepare them and make your servant gracefully arrive for the interviews, jobs in the Name of Jesus Christ as soon as it aligns to Your perfect timing and will. Lord you have power of wealth and success and everything we pray about as it states in the bible John 15:16(WEB) for You to give a chance for your Children to go and to select to bear much fruit so the answer and choice is with you Father God . That in all we do our heart in working hard and creating a desire for people in their hearts towards you through your fruit the gift of your salvation so also may you call the Employers so that they reward your servants. Bless the employers Lord that have employed our friend that they respect and see your Glory and reward this servant fairly for what he or she worked for even if after. Remember that nothing is yours Father for us to have all these good things Matthew 10:29 for which your servant asks is all granted because you have care for it, how many more of the things which ye shall ask for in his name which are written shall you not be granted also in this plan that you call us in for . By your power they shall land this new position.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
