Almighty God, we come before You today, lifting up ... Hargrove, asking for Your blessings and guidance as he navigates through college and life. Lord, we ask that You take away his anxiety and feelings of being overwhelmed. Replace his worries with Your perfect peace, and help him to relax and trust in You.
Father we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man, the only name given by which we can be saved. In case ... has not accepted Jesus as his savior please convict his heart to do so.
Grant him the wisdom and self-discipline needed to study and excel in each of his classes. May he not just gain knowledge, but also grow in wisdom and understanding.
We come into agreement with the scriptures, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:5-6 WEB.
Help him to find lifelong friends who will encourage him in his walk with You and who will be positive influences in his life. We ask that these will be Christian Believers, so they can help hold each other accountable and strive for godliness.
In Jesus' name, we pray for an abundance of grace, strength, and patience for ... as he journeys through college and life. May he always seek Your will and live according to Your purpose.
May he fulfill the scripture, Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 WEB.
We pray that he will not be tempted by the lusts of the world. May he stand strong on Your word, which says, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB. We ask that he will be pure and blameless, ready for a godly spouse when You see fit.
May he remember to put You first in all things, and may he grow in his relationship with You, Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in accordance with Your will and in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
