Niyah, we understand that you're going through a difficult time, but we need to address this situation from a biblical perspective. First, let's look at what the WEB says about relationships and our focus as Christians.

1. Because we are Christians our focus should be on the Lord: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Deuteronomy 6:5

First, we want to remind you that God is the source of all comfort and love. Instead of focusing on your ex-boyfriend, ###, use this time to draw closer to God and allow Him to heal your heart. As Christians our goal is to be married. Because being a girlfriend and boyfriend is a courtship and should have marriage as a goal, we should view it from this perspective from the onset. Therefore if the woman or man is not a saved believer in Jesus Christ, Christians should not be unequally yoked by starting this courtship in the first place.

Regarding your desire for ### to leave another girl and come back to you we have several points to address:

If ### is not your covenant spouse of him leaving their partner is not different than them leaving you for someone else.
It is very important for us to respect the relationships of others. Given ### is with someone else, it's crucial to respect that and not interfere nor lust after another man and another man to be with you given either of them may have entered into a marriage covenant in our absence or have pledged their faithfulness to another.
1. It is important that we pray for the spirit of fornication to be removed from us.
1. Pray for ungodly desires, ungodly behavior, and ungodly thinking.
1. Pray for undivided attention in prayer, bible study, and worship together.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus's Name, lifting up ###. Lord, we know that You are the balm to Gilead able to heal, restore, and mend feelings of rejection, self-worth, heartbreak, and our heartache. We pray to Your goodness for peace, love, and grace that You so generously lavish on us through Your marriage covenant in Jesus Christ..

God, we ask that You help ### and us to remain focused on You, knowing that You are the source of all good things and able to provide.

Niyah, we're here for you. We understand the pain you're going through, but remember, God is always by your side. Let's keep our focus on Him, just like the verse in Colossians 3:1-2 says, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. We should trust that God has a plan in all this. As it's written in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Let's pray that God's will be done, even if it's not what we initially wanted.

Let's also remember to respect ###'s choices and the relationship he's in now. As 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 tells us, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."

I’m not sure why I felt guided to your post but I understand how you feel. Before I got married I too prayed for this and to be honest, it came true but it was the biggest mistake I made. I did learn a valuable lesson though. I learned that if someone has no access to you anymore it’s always for a reason. If you truly believe in God, you’ll trust his plan. Please don’t put your emotions at risk. Having an obsession over someone isn’t love, it’s just you being accustomed to someone. Remember, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 tells us “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” In other words, what you’re describing isn’t love, as hard as it is to accept, that’s the truth. I really hope you carefully consider what you want because if God’s protecting you from something it’s for a reason. So my prayer for you is sincere and simple. Father God, please heal this broken heart. Replace the love ### lost with a better one. Help her find someone who truly loves her and won’t abandon her. Also, have mercy on anyone who feels alone and help them find a healthy relationship. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!
