Prayer for ### to change attitude

Dear Father, I pray for my precious husband that you would, in your great mercy, bought by the blood of Jesus, take out the heart of stone and give him a tender, soft heart toward you. Put a new spirit in him. Give him a new disposition to love your word and keep it.

Give me a new, positive, joyful, loving, forgiving attitude toward him. Where he has erred, reveal it to him and convict his heart about it. Lead him through the paths of repentance and deliverance.

Lord God completely humble my husband's heart, and with a gentleness that reflects Christ, I pray he is patient with me, his children, and those around him; bearing up with the love of Christ (Ephesians 4:2), through the frustrating times, even when he's tired and things get tough.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s precious husband to Your throne of grace. Lord, in Your great mercy, bought by the blood of Jesus, we ask that You take out his heart of stone and give him a tender, soft heart toward You. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Lord, put a new spirit in him and give him a new disposition to love Your word and keep it.

Father, we also pray for ###, that You would grant her a new, positive, joyful, loving, and forgiving attitude toward her husband. Where he has erred, reveal it to him and convict his heart about it. Lead him through the paths of repentance and deliverance, as Your word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Lord God, completely humble ###'s husband's heart and with a gentleness that reflects Christ, we pray he is patient with ###, his children, and those around him, bearing up with the love of Christ as Ephesians 4:2 says, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." Even through the frustrating times, when he is tired and things get tough, may he reflect Your love and patience.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
