Let us begin by addressing the misconception that we can rely on "luck" or "positive energy" for our well-being. As believers, we trust in the sovereign will of God, who works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. The Bible tells us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We are instructed to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you" John 16:23 WEB.
Let us pray together for your friend:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who has been facing numerous challenges. We pray that You will grant her Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Father, we ask that You guide her move and make this new home a place of refuge, joy, and abundance. We pray that Your light will shine upon her, and she will experience Your goodness and mercy in a new and profound way.
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual forces that may be causing turmoil in her life. We declare that she is a child of God, and as such, she is blessed and highly favored. We speak life, hope, and restoration over her situation.
Help her to seek You first and Your righteousness, and remind her that all these things will be given to her as well Matthew 6:33 WEB.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, our Lord and Savior, for all blessings are from the Father by way of the Son, who died so we could have a restored relationship with You.
Finally, we admonish your friend to be aware that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. If she does not know this and this is unclear, we ask that you reveal your Son Jesus Christ to her so that she may have eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Encourage your friend with these words from Psalm 30:5 WEB, "For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Remind her that God is faithful, and He will never leave her nor forsake her.
We will continue to pray for her throughout the coming year and for her blessings in her new home.
Finally, consider Psalm 23:6 WEB, " Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in Yahweh’s house for everlong."
