Let us come together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, remembering His words in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Azuthelmen, we appreciate your heart for those who do not yet believe and trust in God. It is indeed a heartbreaking reality that many have not yet put their faith in Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray earnestly for their souls, asking God to open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel.
Father in heaven,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who do not yet believe and trust in You. We ask that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Remove the veil that blinds them, and grant them the gift of faith.
We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict them of their need for You and draw them to repentance. Surround them with believers who will share Your love and truth with them, and give them the courage to respond in faith.
We also pray for ourselves, that You will give us opportunities to share Your love and truth with those who do not yet believe. Give us the words to speak and the actions to take that will point them to You. Help us to be lights in this dark world, reflecting Your glory in all that we do.
Lord, we know that it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We ask for this in Jesus Christ Your Son's name.
Amen.
In addition to prayer, we should also be ready to share the Gospel with those around us. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:15 WEB: But sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord, and be always ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.
Let us be vigilant, patient, and compassionate in our love for the lost. Trusting that God is at work in their lives, even when we do not see the fruit of our prayers immediately. Our role is to plant and water the seeds of the Gospel, knowing that God is the one who brings the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6-7 WEB). We must faithfully proclaim the truth, knowing that it is God's desire for all to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB).
We are to love and serve others in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing that it is by our love for one another that the world will know that we are His disciples (John 13:35 WEB).
Be blessed, Azuthelmen, as you continue to intercede for those who do not yet believe and trust in God.
