We join with you, Basiloria, in praying for the town of Widnes and the people of the UK, that they may be drawn to Jesus Christ, the only source of salvation. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We appreciate and join with you that you prayed in Jesus' name. As it says in the WEB:
Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:10-12)
We pray that God will open the eyes of the people to see the light of the Gospel and grant them ears to hear His truth. We ask that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and draw them to Jesus, setting them free from the bondage of sin.
As Jesus said in the WEB:
I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness. If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn't believe, I don't judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects me, and doesn't receive my sayings, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke, the same will judge him in the last day. For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak. (John 12:46-50)
We stand with you in continued prayer for those who may initially reject the Gospel, trusting that God's Word will not return void. We remain hopeful, knowing that God desires for all to come to repentance and knowledge of the truth.
Lord, we lift up the town of Widnes and the people of the UK to You. Open their hearts to receive the Gospel and turn to Jesus for salvation. We pray for a spiritual awakening across the whole world to turn to Jesus. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Remember to keep praying, Basiloria.
Finally, we exhort you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us. For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we did not behave ourselves rebelliously among you, neither did we eat bread from anyone's hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you; not because we don't have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat." For we hear from some who walk among you in rebellion, that they don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But you, brothers, don't be weary in doing well. But if any man doesn't obey our word by this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed. Don't count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
(2 Thessalonians 3:6-15)
