Father God,
I come to you in prayer asking for those who are seeking to date others online while they are still married, divorced, or single to be convicted of the dangers involved in this process of meeting others. I have learned that approximately 1/3 of the population of America's people are online searching for something or somebody to fulfill what only you can. Many are cheating on their spouses. God I ask protection for struggling marriages, reconciliation to the Father in heaven, and if possible, reconciliation of the divorced, according to your good and perfect will.
Acts 2:32 Commentary "The generation as a whole had proved perverse, but there was a place for a believing remnant; having previously quoted from Joel 2:32 the words 'whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved' (v. 21), Peter now urged his hearers to save themselves thus from that perverse generation, and so effective was his exhortation that three thousand believed the good news and were baptized, thus forming the first Christian church."-(Guthrie, Motyer, Stibbs, Wiseman, The New Bible Commentary Revised (WM. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co.), 976.
