Let us join together in lifting up this dear soul and their family before the throne of grace, seeking God's will according to His good promises.
We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:14-21 WEB:
"For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Now let us pray together:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your beloved Son. We ask that You protect and heal this family. Grow them in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bless them abundantly in health, finances, relationships, and work. Help them walk in a manner worthy of the calling they have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
We pray that You would supply every need of theirs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask that You would guide them in their relationships, that they may honor You in all their interactions, fleeing from all sexual immorality and pursuing righteousness and holiness, looking only for potential spouses that align with Your will and their destiny in You. Help them to pursue marriage in a godly manner, in purity and patience.
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
May they be encouraged to trust in the Lord with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding but in all their ways, let them acknowledge God and He will make their paths straight.
