We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, and we stand with you in prayer, Waoview. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our finances. It's important to note that God's word tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, as written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
However, we want to gently remind you that the bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." This does not mean that money is evil, but the pursuit of money being more important than God. This verse is a reminder for all of us to keep our priorities in check.
Regarding the theft, we are called to forgive as Jesus has forgiven us. It might be difficult, but pray for the person who stole from you. Pray that God would change their heart and bring them to repentance. Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,".
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Waoview. We thank you and praise you that Jesus has everything in his hands and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Lord, we ask for God to intervene in this situation, that the money stolen to be returned. We pray for the person who stole the money, that God would change their heart and bring them to repentance. We ask this in Jesus' name Amen."
In addition, we would like to know if you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Waoview. As it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, as written in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
