We understand your desire for peace within your family, and we are here to pray and offer guidance with you. Firstly, let's remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 WEB: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." This peace is given to us through a relationship Jesus Christ.
As we seek God, divine will for your family, we should remember that true peace comes from following His principles. In the Bible, we see that God has called us to live in harmony with one another, forgiving each other just as Christ forgave us. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB reminds us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This means we go to each other not keeping things inside that cause resentment and build. It is important to extend grace and forgiveness, as we are family and all are growing in our faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to You. We pray for Your peace to reign in their home and hearts. Help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them. Guide them to live in harmony, putting away all bitterness and anger.
Lord, we know that You desire families to be strong and united. We pray for Your will in their lives. If there is lack of belief in Jesus Christ teach us all things so we may believe and know You. We pray that You would draw each member of this family to You, softening their hearts to Your truths. Help them to grow in dedication to serving each other and to our wonderful Father. Show us who to witness to and teach about the Bible
We rebuke any spirit of strife or division in this family and ask for Your protection over them. Guide them in Your ways, and help them to glorify You in all they do.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Remember that prayer changes things and nothing is impossible in God's eyes.
