We understand that you're seeking prayer for a situation that requires God's favor and understanding in your relationship today. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the name of Jesus Christ for all your needs. God knows all things and He will certainly grant you the favor, guidance, and wisdom needed in this situation. We do not know the circumstances but God does and He knows what you mean about your spouse being angry. We pray for reconciliation between you and your spouse. We are called to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your divine favor and intervention. Lord, You know the details of the situation, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We pray for Your will to be done in the next few minutes Lord, as he/she is requesting. We have been given great and precious promises from you Father through Jesus Christ. Grant our brother/sister the company they need, and let all things work together for their good, as you promised in your word. Grant our brother/sister the company they need, and let all things work together for their good, as you promised in your word, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Father, we also lift up their marriage, knowing that you've called husbands and wives to live together in an understanding way, as fellow heirs of the grace of life and to reflect the relationship between Christ and his bride, the church. You've commanded us in your word to not sin by letting anger control us and to not let the sun go down while still angry. If there is ungodly anger involved, please Father help them to quickly resolve it and forgive each other. Help them to live in a way that honors You, and guide them in Your truth to be the Godly spouse they need to be. We pray for peace and reconciliation in their marriage and home Lord.
Father we know that You are faithful to guide us and to provide what we need. We do not always understand the details of your plan Father and sometimes what looks like a temporary set back or delay is actually you putting the pieces in place for a greater blessing for us. Help us to trust in You in all situations and to grow in our walk with Jesus Christ.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is at work in your life and thank Him that you can come to Him at any time in prayer in Jesus' name.
As the psalmist says, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." Trust God and seek to live in peace and forgiveness with your spouse. We are called to be forgiving and patient with one another and to submit to one another in reverence to Christ. God is faithful to guide us when we call out to Him in the name of Jesus Christ. Also, remember this reassurance from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
