We join you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of God, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let us pray,
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Powers and their family. We ask for Your healing and protection over them. We know that You always want what is best for us and that Your ways are good. We thank you for the Holy Spirit who indwells every true believer.
We pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide Powers and their family, drawing them ever closer to You, Lord. We ask that You would surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and that You would deliver them from the evil one and his schemes.
We also pray for Powers and their family to remain strong in their faith, to be diligent in their prayers and in reading Your Word. We can be confident that God is at work in us, as we read in Philippians 1:6, 'being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.'
We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to be bold in prayer,
Amen."
We encourage you, Powers, to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
It is so important that you brought this request in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As we read in John 14:6, 'Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
We are here with you, Powers, agreeing with you in prayer and believing that God is working in your life and in the lives of your family members. Keep trusting in Him, and keep bringing your requests before Him. As we read in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
