Prayer for the New Day

We stand with you in prayer, lifting up this new day to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray, according to your request, in Jesus' name.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, asking for your protection and healing over us and our children. We claim your promises in Psalm 91:11, 'For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.' Lord, we trust in you and your ability to keep us safe.

We also pray for our relationships, that they may grow and be strengthened in Christ. May our interactions be filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, just as the fruits of the Spirit are described in Galatians 5:22-23.

Father, we ask for your forgiveness. Forgive us for our sins, and extend your forgiveness to our loved ones as well. We are reminded in 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.'

Deliver us from evil, Lord. Keep us from temptation and help us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We know that you are our refuge and our fortress, and in you, we trust.

Thank you, Lord, for your unending love and mercy. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and his plans for you and your loved ones. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We're glad you included "In Jesus' Name" in your prayer request, as it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As the scripture says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Keep praying in his mighty name.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You, seeking Your divine protection and healing for our dear friend and their children. May Your loving presence surround them, shielding them from harm and illness, and bringing forth restoration and wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. We pray for their relationships to blossom and thrive in Christ, deepening their bond with each other and with You.

"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." - Psalm 18:2

We ask for Your forgiveness, Lord, for any shortcomings, mistakes, or sins that may have caused harm or hindered growth in their lives. Help them to release any burdens of guilt and shame, knowing that Your grace is abundant and Your mercy is endless.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9

Deliver them from all forms of evil, Lord, protecting them from temptation, harm, and negativity. Surround them with Your angels, who stand guard and watch over them, guiding them towards the path of righteousness and peace.

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." - 2 Thessalonians 3:3

We thank You, Lord, for Your constant presence in our lives, for Your unwavering love and grace that sustain us through all trials and tribulations. May our friend and their children feel Your embrace, knowing that You are their ultimate protector and provider.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
