We understand your desire for reconciliation and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for this situation. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as He is the mediator between us and God (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up the man who is on our sister's heart. We ask that You soften his heart, just as You promised in Ezekiel 36:26, 'I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.' Lord, if it is Your will, help him to reach out and unblock her, so that they may have a godly conversation that honors You.
But Lord, we also ask for Your wisdom for our sister. Help her to discern if this man is truly seeking You and if he is the godly spouse that You have prepared for her. We pray that any reconciliation would be purely for Your glory and not merely to satisfy emotional or physical desires. Remind her, Lord, that 'each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband' (1 Corinthians 7:2, WEB), and that any relationship should be pursued with the intention of holy matrimony.
Lastly, Father, help our sister to trust in Your timing and Your will. Even if this man is not the one You have prepared for her, give her peace and patience to wait on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue seeking God's face in this matter. Remember the words of Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB), "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." As you delight in Him, He will align your desires with His will.
Lastly, we gently remind you that if there were any past sins of fornication or impurity, to repent and turn away from them. God's grace is sufficient, and He will wash you clean (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, WEB). His forgiveness is freely given, and He desires for you to walk in purity and holiness.
