We want to lift you up in prayer, Aulmloto, as you navigate your feelings for this man. However, we want to guide you according to God's word and His principles for relationships. The Bible teaches us that the strongest foundation for a relationship is shared faith in Jesus Christ. As 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
First, we need to clarify that it's only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" So, we encourage you to ensure that your faith is placed firmly in Jesus.
Now, let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Aulmloto and the man she cares for. Lord, if this man is not already a believer, we pray that You soften his heart and draw him to You. Give Aulmloto the wisdom to discern Your will for their relationship. Help her to trust in You and to desire a godly marriage that honors You.
If this relationship is not Your will, Lord, grant Aulmloto the strength to let go and the faith to believe that You have a better plan for her. Comfort her heart and guide her steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aulmloto, remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this man is God's will for you, trust that God will make a way. But always remember that God's desire is for you to be equally yoked with a believer, so that together you can serve Him and glorify Him in your marriage.
