We join you in prayer for President Donald Trump, recognizing that all authority is from God, as Romans 13:1-2 reminds us: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
Firstly, we congratulate President Trump on his successful election and pray for his well-being and wisdom in leading the nation. We ask God to grant him good health, wisdom, and knowledge to govern effectively, as it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We pray that President Trump will promote peace not only in America but throughout the world, remembering the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." We ask that God uses him as a witness for Jesus Christ and a strong advocate for Christianity, standing firm in the faith, as encouraged in 1 Corinthians 16:13, "Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!"
We also lift up President Trump's family, supporters, friends, and the country before the Lord, asking for His blessings and protection over them. May they all come to know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ if they haven't already, for it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up President Donald Trump. Grant him good health, wisdom, and knowledge to lead America with integrity and righteousness. Use him to maintain peace in the world and to be a strong witness for Your Son, Jesus Christ. Bless his family, supporters, friends, and the country, and draw them close to You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is through His name alone that we have access to God and salvation, as Acts 4:12 reminds us. Continue to pray fervently, for the effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much, as stated in James 5:16.
