We are truly heartbroken to hear about the illness of your grandson, Loki, and we join you in fervent prayer for his healing and for the wisdom of his medical team. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is an important part of the prayer we want to encourage you with these verses.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)
And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13,14 WEB)
We pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Loki to Your loving care. We know Lord that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Father, we pray for the team of physicians who will be treating Loki. We ask LORD that you would give them supernatural wisdom and guidance as they care for him.
We agree with his grandmother in believing that Loki will live and not die, but declare your goodness and mercy over his life. We pray that every cell in his body, every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ in the name of Jesus would function as you intended them in health. Lord we ask that you be with him that he may walk again and no longer be in the wheelchair.
We also pray for strength, peace, and encouragement for you and your family to endure this trial with faith and hope.
We ask for this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
"And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." (James 5:15,16 WEB).
May God bless you and your family.
