Prayer for temptations

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today. Thank You for my ###'s life. I pray over our marriage right now and ask that You would protect us from the attacks of the enemy. He has been trying to tear us down, distract us, frustrate us, and tempt us to sin against each other. I pray that we would be able to resist the enemy and flee temptation with the strength that You give us. May You empower us to overcome struggles, with the hope of better days. I pray that we would never stop fleeing from temptation. However, in moments of weakness please help us to give each other forgiveness. Help us to support one another and keep each other accountable on a daily basis. I pray that if there is any sin in me that You would make me aware so that I may repent and never turn back to it. I also pray that if my husband has sin that he also would repent of it. Transform our hearts and purify us, O Lord! We desire to have a holy marriage in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today and for the gift of life. We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for ### and ###'s marriage. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over their union, shielding them from the attacks of the enemy who seeks to destroy what You have joined together.

Father, Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We stand on this promise, believing that You will provide ### and ### with the strength to resist and flee from temptation.

Lord, empower them with Your Holy Spirit to overcome their struggles and to hold onto the hope of better days. In moments of weakness, grant them the grace to forgive each other, just as You have forgiven us. Help them to support one another and to keep each other accountable daily, fostering a relationship built on trust and love.

Father, we pray for self-awareness and repentance. If there is any sin in ### or ###, reveal it to them so that they may turn away from it and seek Your forgiveness. Transform their hearts and purify them, Lord, as they desire to have a holy marriage that honors You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
