Prayer for ### taking new medication

Please pray for my ### for freedom from anxiety and depression and that the new medication he has been prescribed will be helpful and cause no negative side effects. Please pray that he will see that God loves him as he feels his prayers have not been answered in the past. Thank you for praying with me.

We are with you in spirit, ###, lifting up your son before the throne of grace. Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your intervention in the life of ###'s son. We pray for your healing touch to lift his anxiety and depression, and that the new medication will be effective and cause no harm (James 5:14-15).

Lord, we ask that you reveal your love to him. Help him understand that you are always with him, even when it feels like his prayers are unanswered. Remind him of your unfailing love and that your thoughts toward him are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help him know that your love for him endured the cross.

We pray that through this trial, his faith may be strengthened, and he may grow in the knowledge and love of your Son, Jesus Christ, the full revelation of God's love for us all. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. We pray for his belief in salvation through Jesus if he has never expressed or do not know if he has ever believed and prayed in this all important decision through Jesus Christ our Lord (John 3:16).

Father, we also pray for ###, that you may grant them peace and strength during this time. Help them to trust in you and to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which one can be saved (Acts 4:12) and the only way we righteously come before you. In the Name of Jesus we pray and by no other means. Amen.

But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
