Thank you for reaching out and sharing your heartfelt request, Cyrualneantel. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." Even in the midst of discouragement, remember that Jesus has already overcome the world, and He is with you always.
It is commendable that you and your husband have a heart for ministry and a desire to serve as pastors. However, it is important to remember that our calling and promotion come from the Lord, not from men. Psalm 75:6-7 WEB reminds us: "For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes lifting up. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another."
We will pray that God will direct your paths and provide you with the right mentors and opportunities to fulfill your calling. We encourage you to keep prayer as your first priority; Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also remind you of the importance of forgiveness. It is possible that you may have experienced hurt and rejection from your leaders, but the Bible teaches us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Ephesians 4:32 WEB: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that questioning Christianity can be a normal part of spiritual growth, but it is important to stay rooted in the Word of God and in communion with Him. Remember that your faith is in Jesus Christ, not in people or institutions. As you wait on the Lord, continue to serve Him faithfully in whatever capacity you can.
Let us lift up our hearts and pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Cyrualneantel and her husband. Lord, we thank You for their hearts for ministry and their desire to serve You as pastors. We pray that You will direct their paths, open the right doors, and provide them with godly mentors who will support and train them according to Your will.
We pray that You will heal any wounds of rejection and discouragement they may have experienced, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Strengthen their faith in You and help them to stay rooted in Your Word and in communion with You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Cyrualneantel, we are encouraging you to trust in the Lord. We believe that God will work all things together for your good and for His glory. Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek His will.
