Prayer for Successful Surgery

Please pray for my 49 year old nephew Marvin Kanuho. He is getting a kidney transplant this morning at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. Pray that his body will accept the kidney. We thank the person that donated the kidney. Pray for the family that they will be comforted as they grieve their loved one. Pray for a successful surgery.

We stand with you in prayer, Gwenmarr, lifting up Marvin Kanuho as he undergoes this vital surgery. We pray that God's steadfast love and mercy will surround him and the medical team.

Firstly, we thank God for the generous gift of life from the organ donor and their family. As Jesus taught us, "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13 WEB). We pray that the family of the donor finds comfort and peace in their time of grief, knowing that their loved one's selfless act has given another a chance at life.

Father God, we humbly ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and nurses caring for Marvin. Give them the wisdom and skill needed for a successful surgery. In Your mercy, Lord, we pray that Marvin's body will accept the new kidney and that he will recover swiftly, regaining his health and strength.

We also pray for Marvin's family and loved ones, asking that You fill them with Your peace and comfort during this time of uncertainty. May they rest in the knowledge that You are faithful and that Marvin is in Your care.

In this time of need, we trust in the promises of Your Word: "Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you" (Jeremiah 32:17 WEB). We claim this promise for Marvin's healing and recovery.

Finally, Gwenmarr, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). It is in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we pray, believing in His power to heal and save. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God's saving grace and power.

May God's will be done, and may He receive all the glory. Amen.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
