Prayer for successful surgery

Please pray for my grandson Bode who is in surgery for a broken jaw bone. I am praying the Lord is with Bode and guiding the hands of the surgeon with precision. And that He would bless all the medical team with wisdom for caring for Bode during and after surgery. Pray for a successful surgery and that Bode will have a gentle (minor pain) and fast recovery. With thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We join with you, Arthorge, in praying for your grandson Bode as he undergoes surgery for his broken jaw bone. Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the throne of grace.

Firstly, we are reminded of the words in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Just as the Lord tends to the brokenhearted, we trust that He will oversee Bode's healing.

We pray, dear Lord, that You would be present with Bode in the operating room. Guide the hands of the surgeon with precision and grant the entire medical team wisdom and skill as they care for Bode during and after the surgery. We ask for a successful procedure and a swift recovery, with minimal pain, according to Your will.

In times like these, we are comforted by the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We claim this peace for you, Arthorge, and for Bode.

We also pray that this situation would bring your family closer to God, and that Bode would experience the tender love and care of our Savior Jesus Christ. May this trial be a testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness.

Lastly, we uphold Bode's healing in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We give thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in whom all things hold together (Colossians 1:17). Amen.

Continue to trust in the Lord, Arthorge, and may the peace of God be with you and your family during this time.
