Prayer for successful business meeting

I pray that my husband has a successful business meeting. We pray for new project opportunities after this meeting.

We join with you, Ltuothor, in lifting up your husband's business meeting to the Lord, trusting that God has the power to grant success and open new opportunities. We are reminded of the scripture, For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Just as God had a plan for the Israelites, He has a plan for your husband and his business endeavors.

We pray that your husband will find favor with those he meets, and that his words will be seasoned with salt, being graceful and wise Colossians 4:6 WEB. We ask God to give him discernment and wisdom, like that of Solomon, to navigate the complexities of his business dealings. For the judgments of the wise guide their mouths, but the words of fools rush to their lips Ecclesiastes 10:12 WEB.

We also take this opportunity to encourage both you and your husband to keep God at the center of his business. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hand are power and might; it is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all Proverbs 8:18 WEB. Remember that all blessings flow from God, and a business that honors Him will be blessed.

However, we must also address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. It is only by the grace of Jesus that we are saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB. By believing in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace Ephesians 1:7 WEB.

With this in mind, we pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ltuothor's husband and his upcoming business meeting. We ask that You grant him favor and wisdom, and that Your will be done in his business dealings. Open the doors to new project opportunities if it is according to Your plan. Help him to keep You at the center of his business, and to be a light for You in the marketplace. Draw him to You, and reveal to him the grace and salvation in the love of Jesus. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
