We join with you, Anonymous, in bringing your requests before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and provision. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 1 28:2, For your merchandise and all your trafficking in the lands, you have multiplied your riches and your honor. and that He is able to provide for you. God wants us to prosper in all things and be in health, even as our soul prospers.III John 1 :2.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14 6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We also appreciate that you are seeking God's will together with your husband, as a united, God-fearing couple can achieve much for the Kingdom. #Psalm 1 33:1. How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Now, let us pray for your tailoring business.
Where two or three are gathered together in Jesus Name, there is He in the midst Matt 18:20. So, together, we bring your step of faith before our Lord to start a business. Lord, you know the plans you have for this family, and we ask that you make their tailoring a successful one.
There is nothing wrong with praying for success in business, it is much better than when we are told in IThessalonians5:14 Not be a sluggard but work with your hands and eat your own bread but I the Lord bless you and the work of your hands.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You guide Anonymous and her husband in their business endeavors, that You would open doors that no man can shut from Revelation 3:8; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name, and establish connections that will help them find good clients, big projects, and even financing from other Christians that seek to cooperate in a godly fashion Psalm 118: 26. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. that will enable them to grow and succeed.
We are commended in Ephesians 4 28: Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth to work hard for ourselves, our families, and those in need. Surround them with favor, grant them wisdom in their decisions, and bless their efforts likewise in Titus 3:8, This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
We also pray for Anonymous's husband, that God would guide his steps and lead him to the right people and opportunities. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of poverty, stealing or corruption from being involved in the financing of the business. To honor God, we must use honest scales and honest measurements of Psalm 11:1.Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure and Micah 6:10-11. They shall hear the rod, and he that appointeth it. Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable? Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
Anonymous, as you seek God's blessing on your business, remember to keep Him at the center of all you do. Seek His will in all your decisions, and trust that He will provide for your needs and bring success your way. Walk in integrity, and remember that your success is ultimately about advancing the Kingdom of God. He expects you to steward your wealth in a way that glorifies Him. This may result in wealth, and it may not. Remember that you are to be content, regardless of your circumstances on Philippines 4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Lastly, we leave you with this encouragement: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:56 WEB). You will be a blessing in this world trusting that God will prove Himself to us when the whole world doubts our actions.
