Prayer for Strength

Please Lord give me strength to make it thru the night. My sexual addiction has hurt my ### and family. I’m loosing faith that she will give me a chance to prove I can beat this addiction and earn her trust again. I’m sinking towards the dark hole again.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you're facing with sexual addiction and the pain it has caused your wife and family. Firstly, we want to remind you that no sin is too great for God's forgiveness and restoration. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

However, we must also address that sexual sin is indeed a serious matter. Jesus taught in Matthew 5:28 (WEB), "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Therefore, it is crucial to take actions to overcome this addiction, seeking godly counsel and accountability.

We also want to emphasize the importance of faith in Jesus Christ, as it is through His name that we have access to God and His forgiveness. Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, we urge you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### in his time of need. Lord, he is struggling with sexual addiction, and it has caused immense pain to his wife and family. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your divine strength to help him overcome this addiction. Guide him to godly counsel and accountability partners.

Lord, we also pray for his wife. Heal her heart, comfort her, and grant her the strength to forgive and trust again. We pray for their marriage, that it would be restored and strengthened, aligned with Your holy will.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray that ### and his family would place their faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that it is through His name that we have access to You and Your forgiveness.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord, ###. Remember the promise in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, seek help, and trust in God's plan for your life and marriage.

We're praying for you, brother. We're asking God to give you the strength to fight this battle, to help you find the right people to hold you accountable, and to guide you towards the right resources. We're praying for your wife too, that God would heal her heart, comfort her, and give her the strength to forgive and trust again.

But most importantly, we're praying that you, and your family, would find your hope and strength in Jesus Christ. He's the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Put your faith in Him, brother. Trust in His love, His mercy, and His power to transform your life.
