Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child, who is enduring this season of difficulty with resilience and faith. Lord, You see him in his need and know the weight he carries as he navigates life in a shelter, separated from his family, and facing the harshness of the cold. We ask that You grant him strength today—the strength to teach, coach, and fulfill his responsibilities, and the strength to press forward with hope. As Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” May he feel Your sustaining power with him each moment of this day.
Father, be near to him in his moments of loneliness and longing for his family. You know his heart completely and understand his pain, as Psalm 139:1 reminds us, “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.” Give him comfort, Lord, filling the ache in his heart with Your love and peace. Surround him with Your presence, letting him feel that he is not alone, that You are with him through every step and every struggle.
We pray for mental resilience and encouragement, for the strength to endure both the external and internal challenges he faces. Renew his spirit, Father, and remind him of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Hold him up in Your strength, Lord, and carry him through each task, each moment, and each trial.
Lord, You see his faithful service and commitment to You through the years. Help him to persevere, and let him find hope and assurance in Galatians 6:9, which says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Strengthen him in his calling as a teacher and coach, empowering him to positively impact the lives of his students, even in the face of hardship.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We ask that You be his refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1), his source of courage, and his place of peace. Guide him, Lord, through this day, warming his heart with Your love and filling him with hope.
In Jesus’ name, we pray for strength, comfort, and resilience. Amen.
