Prayer for Strength to Resist the Devil

We understand that you're feeling weak and under attack, Suresh777. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our strength comes from the Lord. As the Apostle Paul said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." So let us remind you, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

In times of weakness, we must put on the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil. As Ephesians 6:10-11 (WEB) says, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." This includes having the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Suresh777 in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that Your power is made perfect in our weakness, and we claim Your strength for Suresh777 right now. Lord, help Suresh777 to put on the whole armor of God each day, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give them the strength and discernment to resist the devil's attacks, and help them to trust in You always, Lord God. Remind Suresh777 that You are always with them, and that You are faithful and true even in times of weakness. We pray Suresh777 has already confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If they have not, we pray now they will see their need for Jesus Christ to be their Savior and the Lord of their life. We pray they will call upon the name of Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord.

In Jesus' name, we pray believing that God hears us and answers our prayer. Amen.

Remember, Suresh777, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:7-8 WEB). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
