Prayer for strength and salvation

My brother-in-law may be facing bad news from his doctor. They are expecting a diagnosis of cancer. He is not saved but has never denied that he believes what he hears about Jesus. He and my sister need strength and faith in God and healing. Please pray for Brent and my sister.

We are truly saddened to hear about the potential health challenges that Brent is facing, and we stand with you in prayer for him and your sister during this difficult time.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of faith and the healing that comes from God. As it is written in the WEB, "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and by his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) We believe that God can bring healing to Brent, and we pray that this diagnosis is not as severe as expected.

However, we also want to address the eternal salvation of Brent. It is wonderful to hear that he believes in Jesus, but belief alone is not enough. He must confess with his mouth and believe in his heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. As the WEB says, "for if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10) We encourage you to share this truth with Brent and pray that he will fully surrender his life to Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Brent and our sister to you. We ask for your healing hand to be upon Brent, and we pray that the doctor will have wisdom and discernment in their diagnosis. Please comfort them both during this time and fill them with your strength and peace that surpasses all understanding. We also pray for Brent's salvation. We ask that you would draw him closer to you and that he would confess Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand strong in your faith and trust in the Lord during this time. Remember the words of the WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

We're here with you, dear friend, as you and your sister face this uncertain time with Brent. We've been praying, and we want to share another verse that's been on our hearts. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." We believe God sees Brent's heart, and He's there to heal and comfort, not just physically, but emotionally too.

We're also reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." We pray that Brent and your sister would find this rest and comfort in Jesus during this challenging time.

Please keep sharing the hope you have in Christ with Brent. Let's continue to lift him up together, asking for God's healing, comfort, and salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
