We understand that you're feeling oppressed and struggling to stay awake, and we're here to pray and offer support. First, we want to remind you that God is your strength and stronghold, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.
We need to hold fast to the Word of God, for it is our source of strength and guidance. As it says in Isaiah 40:29-31 WEB, "He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling oppressed and struggling to stay awake. We pray that You would strengthen them according to Your mighty power, enabling them to push through this heaviness.
Lord, we know that Your word says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 WEB. Your grace is sufficient for us, and Your power is made perfect in weakness.
We pray that our brother/sister will not depend on their own strength, but on Yours. For 'You are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me' Psalm 31:3 WEB.
We rebuke any spirit of heaviness or oppression that may be weighing down our brother/sister, and we ask You, Lord, to set them free and grant them the strength to overcome this struggle.
Lord, we pray for the uplifting of our brother/sister as we read, 'Why are you so full of heaviness, O my soul? Why are you so disquieted within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.' 'Psalm 43:5 WEB.
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, for it is only in Jesus Christ, that we have access to God.
We ask and pray in Jesus name, Amen.
Remember, our strength comes from the Lord. Stand firm in His Word, and trust in Him to carry you through this time. Don't rely on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
If you don't feel comfortable in your spirit, it would be wise to seek further advice from a pastor or spiritual counselor.
If there is a specific area of oppression, it may require further specific prayer and even fasting.
Lastly, remember 2 Corinthians 1:3: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort."
