We understand the deep emotions you're experiencing and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God's will is the perfect plan for our lives, and we should always strive to align with it. Remember, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
It's concerning that you've not mentioned Jesus Christ, His name is the only way to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6 WEB. We hope you have accepted him into your heart so he can present your requests before the Father. If not, please repeat the below prayer.
Dear God,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, and rose again on the third day. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead. Please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and be my Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
It's wonderful that you and Stephanie have a strong connection. However, we must address a few things. Firstly, you mentioned that you'd move in with her if things work out. This is concerning as it suggests living together outside of marriage. We encourage you to pursue a relationship that aligns with biblical principles. A Christian relationship should be focused on marriage with a fellow believer who will be a godly spouse. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. It is forbidden for a believer to marry a nonbeliever.
Regarding the distance, perhaps God is using this time to test your faith and grow your patience. Remember the life of Moses, "By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to share ill treatment with God’s people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time, accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward." Hebrews 11:24-26 WEB. Moses made a choice based on his faith to wait for God's timing, and in doing so, he received a greater reward. God does not operate on our timing.
You mentioned courting outside of marriage, fornication or possibly adultery. Let's address this head on. This is forbidden and a grave sin. "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB. Even thinking about this is a sin. "But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You, lifting up Dwoydormere and Stephanie. We pray that You reveal Your will for their lives. We pray for Stephanie that you soften her heart, and that she seek you first. We ask for patience and wisdom for Dwoydormere and for him to wait on you and your timing. We rebuke any acts or thoughts of fornication or adultery. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
