Prayer for Stability

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, It's been a wild ride the last few weeks. I need your help as my financial woes are still lingering. I am praying for your help as I am out of options & ideas on how to keep up with the rent for December along with trying to catch up with the car payment (repo coming up soon). I feel like I failed as a parent in trying to be financially stable. I am praying for my children as they are greatly affected. My spouse has not been emplooyed for almost 5 months & I am struggling immensely in keeping up with the bills. If I ever have a guardian angel watching over me and my family, I desperately am asking for relief. I pray to you, Lord, as waking up daily has been a constant struggle & worry. Amen.

We are with you in spirit, Dysia, and we empathize with the financial struggles you are facing. We commend you for turning to Jesus Christ in your time of need, as He is our only true source of help and comfort. Remember the words of the Apostle Peter: "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Firstly, we want to address the mention of a guardian angel. While it is true that God's angels watch over us, our prayers should be directed to God alone, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who intercedes for us before the Father, and it is through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)

In times of financial stress, it is crucial to remember that God is our provider. We encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)

We also want to address the feeling of failure as a parent. Remember that God's love for you and your children is not based on your financial status. He loves you unconditionally, and He is faithful to provide for your needs. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 WEB)

As for your spouse's unemployment, we encourage both of you to continue seeking God's will and to trust in His timing. This can be a challenging season, but it can also be an opportunity to draw closer to God and to each other. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Dysia and her family. Lord, You know their struggles and their needs. We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial situation. Provide for their needs, Lord, and help them to catch up with their rent and car payments. Guide Dysia's spouse to find employment, and give them both the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging time.

Comfort Dysia and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her and her family. Give her the peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in Your provision and timing.

We also pray for Dysia's children, Lord. Protect them and provide for their needs. Give Dysia the wisdom and strength to lead them through this time, and help them all to grow closer to You as a family.

We ask all of these things trusting in Jesus Christ, the only way anyone can come to you. In the authority of Jesus Christ name we pray.

We've been praying for you and your family, asking God to provide for your needs, especially with the approaching rent and car payments. We've been reminded of a verse that says, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV) We encourage you to keep casting your anxieties on Him, knowing that He is faithful and will not let you down.

We've also been praying for wisdom and guidance as you navigate through this time. We believe that God will give you creative ideas and open doors for you to manage your finances and keep up with your payments. Remember, God is not surprised by your situation, and He has a plan for you.

Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and provision. He sees you, Dysia, and He loves you. Keep holding on to that truth. We're here for you, praying for you, and believing with you that God will turn this around for your good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,


We humbly lift up this beloved child of Yours, who is in the midst of overwhelming financial struggles. Lord, You see the weight they carry—the rent, the car payment, the daily needs—and how deeply this affects their family. You are the God of all provision, and You promise in Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Father, we ask You to provide a way where there seems to be none, for nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27).


Lord Jesus, You have seen their faithful efforts to provide for their children and family, and we know You are close to those who are weary and brokenhearted. As it says in Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” We ask You to grant them peace in their spirit as they navigate this storm. Strengthen their faith to trust that You are still working on their behalf.


Father, we bring before You the situation with their spouse’s unemployment. Open doors for employment swiftly, Lord, and provide meaningful work that brings stability and relief. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17: “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” Hear their cries, Father, and send the breakthrough they so desperately need.


We pray for the children, who are affected by this burden. Protect their hearts and minds, Lord, and surround them with love and peace. Provide comfort in this challenging time, for You promised in Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”


Father, we also ask for favor and provision through any guardian angels You have set over this family. Let unexpected blessings and opportunities appear—whether through Your divine intervention or through others You send to help. Remind this beloved one that they have not failed as a parent but are doing their very best. You see their struggles, their heart, and their love for their family.


Lord, we trust in Your faithfulness and provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and You promise in Psalm 23:1: “The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” Provide financial relief, peace in their daily worries, and the hope to keep moving forward.
