We are truly grieved to hear of your struggles, Sesilia, but we thank God that you have reached out for prayer and support. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His deliverance and healing.
Firstly, we commend you for your years of service in the church. It is evident that you have a heart for God and His people. However, let us address the areas of your life where sin and bondage have taken hold. God's word tells us, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." (Romans 8:1-2 WEB).
The abuse you've suffered is not your fault, but the continued acts of impurity, including masturbation, are sins from which you need deliverance. God calls us to purity, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own body in sanctification and honor." (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 WEB).
We also address the disorder of Pica, which you've mentioned. God is our healer, and we trust that He can deliver you from this as well. "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise." (Jeremiah 17:14 WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Sesilia. Lord, You know her heart and her struggles. We ask for Your deliverance and healing in her life. Break the chains of sexual sin, addiction, and the disorder that have bound her. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, empowering her to live a life of purity and holiness. Give her the strength to resist temptation and to walk in Your freedom. Surround her with supportive brothers and sisters in Christ, and help her to seek professional help where needed. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Sesilia, remember that your worth is not defined by your past or present struggles. You are precious in God's sight, and He loves you dearly. "But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved." (Ephesians 2:4-5 WEB).
We encourage you to continue seeking God, praying, and reading His word. Also, consider confiding in a trusted Christian leader or counselor who can provide further support and accountability. Remember, there is no shame in seeking help, and you are not alone in this battle.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep crying out to Jesus, trusting in His power to save and deliver.
