Prayer for special friend to not return to a ### toxic relationship with her ex.

I need interceding prayers, to stand in agreement and please to stand on God's word to help my friend ### to break the bonds of a soul tie with her ex. She can't seem to let go. Break up for a while even up to a year and then it's back again. It's been going on for +- ### years. He is ### years older than her, toxic, an atheist and she is a Newly Born Again single mom about ### months. She can't stop chatting with him, accepted an expensive gift recently and even went out with him when he appeared at her door recently unannounced a week after sending the gift. She tries and justifies that his good and maybe God want her to lead him to Christ.

She has stopped to attend church regularly and drinking again excessively on weekends.

I believe as God word and promise of prayer.

Amen. Please help me, God, Jesus, Holy spirit. Amen

We understand your concern for your friend ### and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life.

Firstly, we must address the nature of the relationship between ### and her ex. The Bible teaches us to "not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). As a newly born again Christian, ###'s relationship with an atheist is not aligned with biblical principles, especially given the toxic nature of their bond.

Regarding the soul tie, we pray that "every yoke be destroyed according to the mighty power of God" (Isaiah 10:27 WEB). We pray that ### finds strength in Christ to break free from this bond, as Jesus has set her free and whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36 WEB).

We must also address the justification ### is using to maintain this relationship. While it's commendable to want to lead someone to Christ, the Bible warns against being "conformed to this world" (Romans 12:2 WEB). Her actions, such as accepting expensive gifts, going out with him, and excessive drinking, are not consistent with her new life in Christ. Instead, she should "come out from among them, and be separate" (2 Corinthians 6:17 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask that you sever every soul tie that binds her to her ex. Give her the strength to resist him and to fully commit to you. Surround her with godly counsel and Christian community, drawing her back to regular church attendance. Reveal to her the beauty of a godly marriage, and prepare her heart for the spouse you have intended for her. In the meantime, help her to live a life pleasing to you, being a light to the world but not entangled in it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for ###, reminding her of God's love and promises for her. Guide her towards scriptures that will strengthen her resolve to live a life holy and pleasing to God.
