Prayer for ###'s Custody Court

I ask for prayers for my son ###, who is going to go to court for child custody. He has custody of his 2 children, and the mother is taking him to court to try to get full custody of them. Her reasons for asking for full custody are a bunch of lies she has made up against my son and his wife. My son is a hard worker and just to have to get a lawyer is taking a toll on his finances. I ask that our God, open the Judge's eyes and ears to her lies and they are brought out into the open and cancelled. She uses drugs, cusses in front of the kids, doesn't discipline them, living in sin with the same kind of man with her traits. She has filled the children's heads with lies. She only has them on the weekend but that is even too much time for her to do damage to the kids. Please pray that my son prevails in court with Jesus at his side. The kids are 13 and 12 and at the age when they can easily be steered the wrong way. Please pray for ### to keep his full custody. line them

Dear God's woman, we join you in lifting up your son ### in prayer during this challenging time. We stand on the promise that "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32 WEB), and we trust that God will bring the truth to light in this custody battle.

Firstly, we want to encourage you and ### to keep your focus on Christ Jesus, as it is through Him that we find strength and hope. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is in His name that we pray for ###'s situation. As it is written, "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12 WEB).

We rebuke the lies and deceit that ###'s former spouse is bringing against him and his wife. We pray that the judge presiding over the case will have discernment and wisdom to see the truth, as it is written, "For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity" (Proverbs 2:6-7 WEB).

We also pray for the mother of the children, that she may convict of her wrongdoings and turn away from her sinful lifestyle. We pray that she will understand the impact of her actions on the children and seek to live a life pleasing to God. As it is written, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB).

Moreover, we pray for ###'s financial provision, that God will make a way for him to afford the legal fees and continue providing for his children. We stand on the promise that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

Lastly, we pray for the children, that God will protect their hearts and minds from the negative influences they may be exposed to. We ask that He will give ### the wisdom and strength to guide them in the way they should go, so that they will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### and his family. We ask that You intervene in this custody battle and let the truth prevail. We pray for ###'s former spouse, that she may turn away from her sinful lifestyle and seek Your will for her life. We ask for Your provision and protection over ### and his family. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in faith, dear sister, and continue to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.

I will rescue him, and honor him." We trust that God sees their situation and is working behind the scenes for their good.

We're believing for a judge who will have eyes to see and ears to hear, just like the judge in Acts 24:25, "But when Felix had a more exact knowledge of the Way, he deferred them, saying, 'When Lysias, the commander, comes down, I will decide your case.'"

We're also interceding for ###'s former spouse, that God would open her heart to the truth and bring conviction. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 7:10, "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death."

Let's keep our focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He's got this, and He's working all things together for their good. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep standing strong. We're right here with you, sister. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
