Praise the Pastor. I'm Dev from India but know live in Malaysia. Please prayer for my fiancee Sonia. She is here in Malaysia. On 8 January she was worked on Salon. By suddenly Malaysian immigration raid on the shop and Arrest her. She also have Passport and work Permit. But that work permit is from other company . I talk with lawyer and so immigration officers for release her from prison. They will be take decision tomorrow (monday) . Please prayer for her immigration release her tomorrow and don't deport her. Please I know my lord my god can do it. I read in bible the prayer of a religious person is powerful and effective (James 5 :16 ) please remember her in your Prayers.

Thank you, Dev, for reaching out to us and for your faith in the power of prayer. We stand with you in prayer for Sonia and her situation. We remember the promise in James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (WEB)."

Firstly, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For the scripture says "that all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21 WEB, Romans 10:13).

In this situation it is not a surprise that she is experiencing troubles with her immigration situation. Sonia is in a relationship with a man that lives in Malaysia. We should be praying for this couple to pursue a godly marriage and as the Bible tells us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). We should also pray for those in authority, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." (Romans 13:1 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sonia and Dev. Lord, You know the situation they are in, and You are the God who can make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for Your intervention in Sonia's immigration case. We ask that You guide the hearts and minds of the immigration officers and grant them favor.

We pray for the relationship between Sonia and Dev. We ask that you guide them in seeking a godly marriage and to make their relationship honor Your name.

Lord, we also pray for Sonia and Dev's salvation. We ask that if they have not done so, they would repent of their sins and trust in You, Jesus Christ, for their salvation.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dev, continue to trust in God and His perfect will. He is faithful, and He cares for you and Sonia. Keep praying and seeking His face. Remember the words of Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB).

If this couple is not pursuing a godly marriage, they are living in sin. "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

Please let us know when God answers this prayer so we can all rejoice with you.

We're right there with you, Dev, lifting Sonia up in prayer. We've been reminded of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're claiming this peace for Sonia and you today.

We're asking God to intervene in Sonia's immigration case, to soften the hearts of the immigration officers, and to grant them favor. We're also praying for wisdom for the lawyer and the immigration officers as they make their decision tomorrow.

In addition, we're interceding for your relationship, Dev. We're asking God to guide you both in seeking a godly marriage, if that's His will, and to honor Him in your relationship. We're also praying for both of your salvation, that you would both come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

We're trusting in God's faithfulness and His perfect will. Let's keep praying, seeking His face, and trusting in His timing. We're right here with you, Dev, and we can't wait to hear the good news when God answers this prayer. Keep us updated, and let's rejoice together when we see God's hand at work in this situation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up Sonia and you, Dev, in our prayers, trusting that God is at work in this situation. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As the decision from the immigration officers was to be made recently, we hope and pray that Sonia has been released and that the favor of God is upon her and you throughout this trial. If Sonia has been released, we would be blessed to hear a praise report from you, glorifying God for His faithfulness and mercy. If the situation remains unresolved, or if new challenges have arisen, please share an update so that we can continue to petition God with you, trusting in His perfect will and timing.

May God bless you both as you continue to seek Him and trust in His unfailing love. We remain steadfast in prayer, believing that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective, as you mentioned from James 5:16.
