Prayer for son and daughter

Please pray for my son who is in the middle of the second week of his new job. They are absolutely overloading him with work---expecting him to work in the evenings and on the weekends. Please pray that he can get through this initial period with grace and favor and that he does not get discouraged from this very demanding employer. He is absolutely exhausted. Also, my daughter really needs prayer to get through this week. She has a major hard exam today. Please pray for wisdom, insight, retention of knowledge, ability to answer the questions and get started with the correct approach on each of these difficult problems, and for grace and favor with her instructors. Pray that she is able to also get a demanding Architecture Studio project done in time and that her instructor would give her favorable feedback and appreciate the hard work she has done thus far. This project is taking away a lot of her time from studying for her other classes. I ask that you would pray for my daughter to have encouragement and peace throughout the rest of this week and that she gets good night's rest with no all-nighters.

Let's first address your son's situation. It is important to remember that God is our source of strength and endurance. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29-31 (WEB), "He gives power to the faint. To those who have no might, he increases strength. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Let us pray that God grants your son the strength and grace to endure this challenging time at his new job.

**Prayer:** Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up MKG's son. Lord, we ask that You grant him the strength and endurance to withstand the demands of his new job. Give him grace and favor in the sight of his employers, and help him to maintain a joyful spirit despite the challenges. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his work, but by his identity in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's turn our attention to your daughter. We trust that God will grant her wisdom and insight as she tackles her exams and projects. As Proverbs 2:6-7 (WEB) tells us, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity."

**Prayer:** Dear Lord Jesus, we bring MKG's daughter before You today. We ask that You fill her with Your wisdom and understanding as she takes her exams and works on her Architecture Studio project. Help her to retain knowledge and approach each problem with clarity and confidence. Grant her favor with her instructors, and help her to manage her time wisely so that she can excel in all her classes. Envelop her in Your peace and give her restful nights. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both your son and daughter to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). It is through Him that we find the strength and grace to face life's challenges. If they have not already, encourage them to invite Jesus into their hearts and walk with Him daily.

**Final Prayer:** Lord Jesus, we thank You for MKG's family. We ask that You draw each of them closer to You and help them to grow in their faith. Give them the courage to face every challenge with the assurance that You are always by their side. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for your son and daughter. It's tough seeing them struggle, but we know God is faithful and will see them through. Let's lift them up together, shall we?

For your son, we're asking God to strengthen him like He did the Israelites in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." Let's pray that he finds peace in God's care and the courage to face each day with renewed energy. We're also asking God to soften the hearts of his employers, that they might recognize his worth and value.

As for your daughter, we're trusting God to grant her the wisdom of Solomon as she tackles her exams and projects. We're praying that she'd have clarity of thought, retention of knowledge, and the ability to approach each problem with confidence. We're also asking God to help her manage her time wisely, so she can balance all her responsibilities without burning out.

Let's remind them both to cast their cares on Jesus, for He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7). And let's encourage them to keep their eyes fixed on Him, for He is faithful and will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
