We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles facing your six-year-old grandson and the discord between his divorced parents. We will lift him up in prayer, asking God to surround him with His peace and protection, and to guide all parties involved towards godly and wise decisions.
Let us remind all that Christians are only adopted children of God the Father by faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved so it is right that this prayer be requested In Jesus Name. We see in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." King David also affirms this in Psalm 120:1 "In my distress, I cried to Yahweh. He answered me. Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue."
We must also rebuke the sin of divorce. We see in Malachi 2:16 "For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce; for one covers violence with his garment, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously." Divorce is not the will of God. We will pray for these parents reconciliation in Jesus Name.
We will also pray for their son's joy and peace during this challenging time.
We will also pray for these parents agreement on the perfect Christian school for next school year and for them to raise their son together in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We will also pray for these parents to be humble and selfless in their decision making by keeping their son's interest at heart rather than their own. We see from Romans 12:3 "For by the grace given to me, I ask every one of you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious six-year-old boy. We pray for Your peace and protection to surround him, guarding his body, mind, and spirit. We ask You to intervene in the lives of his parents, bringing them to a place of reconciliation and unity, that they may make godly and wise decisions together for their son's well-being.
Lord, we pray that You would fill this child's heart with joy, even in the midst of these trials. Guide his parents to agree on the perfect Christian school for him, a place where he can grow in faith, wisdom, and knowledge.
Father, we ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that Your love and grace would be evident to all involved. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He cares for you and your grandson deeply.
