We are truly sorry to hear about your son's illness and we are with you in spirit, lifting him up in prayer. As we are reminded in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon MVF's son. Lord, You know his every need, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. Please comfort him and give him strength as he fights this illness. We pray for his complete recovery, that his cough and cold may subside, and that he would be made whole again. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In times like these, it's important to remember that our faith is in God, and it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We encourage you, MVF, to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears our prayers and acts according to His will. Keep your faith strong and unwavering, for God is faithful and His love for us is everlasting. As you care for your son, may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
In addition to prayer, ensure that your son is getting plenty of rest and fluids, and consider seeking medical attention if his symptoms worsen or persist. The Lord has given us wisdom and knowledge in medicine, and we should use these resources alongside our faith.
