We stand with you, Metlya, in lifting up your sick brothers and sisters in Christ. We know that our God is a healing God, and His will is for us to be in good health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our elderly brothers and sisters who are afflicted with sickness and illnesses. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and there is no disease that is too hard for you to heal. We claim your promises of healing in Isaiah 53:5, WEB, 'But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed.'
Lord, we ask for your divine intervention. Send your Holy Spirit to comfort and strengthen them. Give the doctors wisdom and guide them as they administer treatment. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has attacked their bodies and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Help us, as a congregation, to rally around them, to encourage and support them in this time of need. Remind us to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, WEB).
Father, we thank you for your faithfulness and love. We believe and receive the healing of our brothers and sisters, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's healing power. Remember, faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep declaring God's word over their lives. Also, ensure that their needs are being met physically, as well as spiritually, for that is the true demonstration of our faith (James 2:14-17, WEB).
Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, WEB).
