This might seem like a strange request, to pray for Shia, but, my reason for asking is that I have found for many years that I am moved to pray for many famous actors and musicians, for their salvation and that God would claim them and the talents he's given them for his Kingdom. It seems that a lot of the time when believers pray or talk about prayer or the needs of the world, no one mentions famous people who very obviously are outside of God and NEED God; its like because they are rich and famous and strongly "of the world" they're somehow undeserving of, or outside of needing, God's grace and his Son's sacrifice.
In Shia's case, he has already gotten saved (as of a year ago), or so he claims. Only God knows for sure whether or not he genuinely gave his heart and life over to Jesus, and we will see as time goes on whether the fruits he shows are in line with the conversion he said happened. Still, I feel that it would not hurt to give him the benefit of the doubt and therefore intercede for him, that Jesus would draw him ever closer to Himself and that as a "byproduct" his life would show fruits of the Holy Spirit, as should happen for all of us that call ourselves followers of Him. There is probably a lot of questions he has, please pray that God would answer those and would even bring someone alongside him as a mentor that can help him understand the things he don't understand about God and the life of a Jesus follower, who will also act as an accountability assistant to him.
So let me pray now and start it off. Lord Jesus I pray for Shia LeBeouf, he is your son, and would be even if he was not a Christian, as we all are your sons and daughters whom you love equally and you love us by virtue of being your creation, all part of the huge human family under Abraham. I pray that you would come to him and show him your love, fully and without measure, and draw him in using that overwhelming love. Teach him about that love and then help him to start showing that love to other people, and then eventually showing that love by telling him about your Son and about his death, so that they can become part of the Kingdom. Help him to become fully filled with the Spirit, so much so that he becomes a vessel for your power to where miracles occur. Make him a MIGHTY force for your Kingdom! and let that all begin right as we speak!!!! In Jesus Name, Amen!!!
