Khugowe We are thrilled to hear that you are pursuing courses in Christian ministry. This is a wonderful step of faith and obedience to God's call on your life. We are here to support you in prayer and to encourage you in your studies. We pray for success and gain of knowledge in your courses and ministry.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in all that you do. As it is written in Colossians 3:17 WEB: "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." It is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Khugowe as they pursue their courses in Christian ministry. We pray that You would grant them wisdom, understanding, and discernment as they study Your Word and learn to minister to others.
Lord, we ask that You would help Khugowe to excel in their assignments, not for their own glory, but for Yours. May they be a light to their classmates and instructors, pointing them to You in all that they do.
We also pray that You would prepare Khugowe's heart for the ministry that You have called them to. May they be sensitive to Your Spirit's leading and obedient to Your will.
Finally, we pray that Khugowe would keep their eyes fixed on You, Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. May they run the race marked out for them with perseverance, never growing weary in doing good.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Khugowe, as you press on in your studies. Remember that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. As you abide in Christ, you will bear much fruit. (John 15:5 WEB)
We also encourage you to be aware of anything that may draw you away from sound doctrine. Anything deemed 'new', 'progressive', or aligned with a particular 'movement' should be closely aligned with Biblical principles, scriptures, and excegesis. Be a Berean and test and verify everything. Do not rely on church membership, pastoral role, or anything else to determine if the person is Biblical. The Doctrine of the Bible is the true Godly test.
Last, please let us know how your studies are going and how we can continue to pray for you. We are here for you, and we believe that God has great plans for your ministry. Indeed, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB states "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
