We are with you in spirit, Thormund, lifting up your children as they embark on this new school year. Let us first assure you that God cares deeply for your children and their anxieties. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Thormund's children as they start their new school year. Please Lord, be with them, comfort their hearts, and help them to make friends easily. Ease their nervousness and fill them with a peaceful confidence, knowing that you are always with them. Guide their teachers and the school staff to be helpful, friendly, and supportive, creating a nurturing environment for all students. We also ask that the curriculum would be challenging yet achievable, allowing the children to grow and learn without feeling overwhelmed. Lord, we know that every good gift comes from you, and we trust that this school year will be a blessing for Thormund's children. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Thormund, to continue trusting in the Lord and reminding your children of His constant presence. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and teach your children to do the same. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
