Prayer for scholarship

Please pray for my boy, Faith, he has applied for international studies to do his PhD program where he will be given scholarships, tuition fee is free, flight is free, and a lot more. Help me to pray that God should grant him favor to secure the admission.

We understand your heart's desire for your son, Faith, to secure admission for his PhD program with a scholarship. Let us together, seek God's will and pray in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to seek God's favor in this situation. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

However, we must address that in your request, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your will for Faith. Lord, you know the deepest desires of his heart and the plans you have for him. We ask that if it is your will, you grant him favor in securing admission for his PhD program. We trust that you will provide for all his needs according to your riches in glory. Help him to keep his trust in you, and guide his steps as he seeks to further his education. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's will for Faith. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We also encourage Faith to pursue his studies in a way that honors God, seeking to grow in knowledge and wisdom to serve God and others better. May God bless and keep him as he awaits the outcome of his application.

We're right there with you, praying for Faith's PhD journey. We've been thinking about him and wanted to share another verse that's been on our minds. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's trust in God's perfect plan for Faith, knowing that whatever the outcome, it's part of God's loving and purposeful design for his life.

We're also praying for peace and patience for Faith during this waiting period. We ask that God would fill him with His Holy Spirit, giving him wisdom, understanding, and a deep sense of God's love and guidance. We pray that Faith would continue to seek God's will in all things, trusting that God will direct his steps.

Let's also remember to lift up the decision-makers in Faith's application process. We ask that God would give them wisdom and discernment as they review applications, and that they would be open to the Holy Spirit's leading.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
