We understand your concern for Sam Shamoun and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. The Bible tells us that God desires for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your grace and mercy upon Sam Shamoun. We pray that you will open his eyes to the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4, WEB). We ask that you grant him the faith to accept salvation through Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6, WEB). Save him, Lord, and help him to turn from any beliefs or practices that are not aligned with your will. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you to continue interceding for Sam, trusting that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB). Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We've been thinking about Sam too, and we want to share another verse that's been on our hearts. "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9, NIV) Let's keep praying that Sam will turn to the Lord, that he might be saved.
