We join you, Lyralder, in praying for the salvation of Bill G, Vernon T Jr, and Derrick B Jr. It is commendable that you are interceding for them, as the Scripture reminds us in James 5:16, "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that salvation is a deeply personal choice and a work of the Holy Spirit in one's heart. We cannot force anyone to accept Jesus Christ, but we can pray that their hearts would be open and receptive to the Gospel. In Acts 4:12, we read, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. That is why it is only in the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), that we can pray to God.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bill G, Vernon T Jr, and Derrick B Jr. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Send the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sins and draw them to Jesus Christ. Help them to see that there is no other name by which they can be saved.
We pray that they would renounce all false religions and any doctrines of demons that have held them captive. Lord Jesus, may they find the hope that is in you. Help them to realize that salvation is not just about believing in God, but about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. For it is with the heart that one believes to righteousness; and with the mouth that confession is made to salvation.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for them and to share the Gospel with them as the Lord leads. Remember, in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, it is written, "I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase." Our role is to plant and water the seeds of the Gospel, but it is God who brings the increase.
Lastly, be a witness to them. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus said, "Let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Your life and witness can be a powerful testimony to draw them to Christ.
