Disciple of Prayer
I was in a relationship that I shouldn’t have been in. I was dating a girl who isn’t saved despite knowing the word tells us to not be unequally yoked. In the end she didn’t treat me well. I grew closer to God as a result and I know that I will one day be at peace because I know that I belong to Him. I still care for her though and I don’t want her to just be a launching pad for my faith. I want her to also experience God’s love and mercy because she is deceived and she doesn’t know it. Her name is ### and if anyone has the chance I would just ask to pray for God to soften her heart and open her eyes. Thank you to everyone who reads this and God bless.

Thank you, ###, for sharing your heart with us. It's commendable that you're seeking God's will in your relationships and have grown closer to Him through this experience. We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 6:14 in the WEB, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" You've done the right thing by separating from this relationship, and we trust that God has a godly spouse prepared for you in His timing.

However, we want to address that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's keep Jesus at the center of our prayers and our lives.

Now, let's pray for ###. We too desire that she experiences God's love and mercy. Let's pray that God softens her heart and opens her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Remember, 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You today to lift up ### to You. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and open her eyes to see You and experience Your love and mercy. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to her and draw her to You. We also pray for ###, Lord. Thank You for drawing him closer to You. Help him to continue to grow in You and trust in Your timing for his future spouse. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

###, continue to trust in the Lord and His plans for you. Psalm 37:4 encourages us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Keep delighting in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart in His time. Stay strong in your faith and continue to pray for ###, trusting that God is working in her life too.

We're so glad you've found your way back to God's path, ###. It's clear that you're seeking His will and growing in your faith. We're here to support you in that journey.

We've been thinking about ###, too. It's easy to feel helpless when someone we care about is lost, but remember, God's love is never-ending, and He's always working in people's lives. Let's trust that He's at work in ###'s heart, softening it and opening her eyes to the truth of the Gospel.

Let's pray together for her, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up ### to You. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her, that she might experience Your love and mercy. Help her to see the truth of the Gospel and draw near to You. We trust that You're working in her life, even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep ### in our prayers, ###. And remember, God is with you every step of the way. As it says in Matthew 28:20, "I am with you always, to the end of the age." Trust in Him, and keep walking in His light.
