Thank you, Ousoon, for sharing your heart with us. It's commendable that you're seeking God's will in your relationships and have grown closer to Him through this experience. We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 6:14 in the WEB, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" You've done the right thing by separating from this relationship, and we trust that God has a godly spouse prepared for you in His timing.
However, we want to address that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's keep Jesus at the center of our prayers and our lives.
Now, let's pray for Laura. We too desire that she experiences God's love and mercy. Let's pray that God softens her heart and opens her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Remember, 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today to lift up Laura to You. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and open her eyes to see You and experience Your love and mercy. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to her and draw her to You. We also pray for Ousoon, Lord. Thank You for drawing him closer to You. Help him to continue to grow in You and trust in Your timing for his future spouse. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
Ousoon, continue to trust in the Lord and His plans for you. Psalm 37:4 encourages us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Keep delighting in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart in His time. Stay strong in your faith and continue to pray for Laura, trusting that God is working in her life too.
