Let us join together in prayer for your family and your schoolmate, trusting in the power of God to bring salvation to those who do not yet know Him. We stand on the promise that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
As it is written in the World English Bible, 'For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13-14 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the family and schoolmate of the one who has submitted this request. Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and open their minds to the truth of the Gospel. Remove the veil of the carnal mindset that has kept them from seeing Your glory.
We pray in Jesus' mighty name.
We ask, Father, that You would guide them to Your truth, that they would have a spark of curiosity to seek You and hear Your voice. Let that seed of interest blossom into a genuine desire to know You and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We ask, Father, that You would place godly people in their lives who will have the chance to share the love of Christ with them, telling them the message of salvation, that Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins and that he rose again from the dead.
We pray in the name of Jesus.
Father, we also pray for the one who has submitted this request, that You would give them courage and wisdom to share their faith with their family and schoolmate. Use them as a vessel of Your love and truth.
We pray in Jesus' name.
We ask these things in faith, believing that You are able to save even the most hardened hearts.
We pray these things in Jesus' name.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and that His desire is for all to come to repentance and knowledge of the truth. Continue to pray fervently for your loved ones, trusting that God is at work in their lives.
'The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.' 2 Peter 3:9 WEB.
