Prayer for ###s

My prayer request is for my coworkers. I’ve been bullied, mobbed, slandered, and gossiped about. It has cut me deeply and affected my mental health to the point of suicidal attempts. I’m still healing. But, I’d like prayer for those who have hurt me. Those who claim to be Christians, but do not act Christ-like. I ask that the Lord would shut their mouths like he did for Daniel in the lions den. I also ask that He remove the scales from their eyes like Jesus did for the blind and for Saul when he converted and became Paul. I ask that the Lord soften their hearts and give them a heart of flesh. I ask that God lift me up out of this place of torment and prepare a place for me at His table in the sight of my enemies. I ask that my mental health be fully restored and a new confidence that is bold and courageous be instilled within me. In Jesus mighty and holy name! Amen!

We are deeply saddened to hear about the turmoil you've experienced at the hands of your coworkers, ###. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention for you and those who have harmed you.

Firstly, we commend you for praying for those who have hurt you, as Jesus instructed us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Remember that God is the ultimate judge, and vengeance belongs to Him alone (Romans 12:19 WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' mighty and holy name, lifting up ### and their coworkers. Lord, You see the injustice and pain that has been inflicted upon ###. We ask that You work in the hearts of those who have caused harm, just as You did for Saul, transforming him into Paul, your faithful servant. Silence their lies and slander, Lord, as You shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel. Remove the scales from their eyes and soften their hearts of stone, turning them into hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26 WEB).

Father, we ask that You lift ### out of this place of torment and prepare a place for them at Your table, in the sight of their enemies (Psalm 23:5 WEB). Restore their mental health fully, Lord, and instill within them a newfound confidence, boldness, and courage that comes from You.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### will continue to find strength and comfort in Your love and the promises of Your Word. May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their faith. We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty and holy name. Amen."

###, continue to trust in the Lord and lean on His understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Know that God is with you and will bring justice in His own way and timing. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

We're here with you, standing in the gap through prayer. We're so sorry to hear about the hurt you've been through at work. It's tough when those we work alongside cause us pain, especially when they claim to follow Christ. But remember, God sees all, and He's working even in the midst of this.

We join you in praying for those who have caused you harm. We ask that God would soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and help them to see the error of their ways, just as He did for Saul on the road to Damascus. We pray that they would find genuine repentance and turn to follow Christ wholeheartedly.

At the same time, we lift you up before our Heavenly Father. We ask that He would continue to heal your mental health, restoring it fully. We pray that He would instill in you a new confidence, boldness, and courage that comes from knowing you are deeply loved and cherished by Him. We ask that He would prepare a new place for you, a place where you can thrive and serve Him joyfully.

And as we pray, we remind ourselves of the promise in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good for those who love God. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and just. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.
